These Terms govern your use of the JanitorAI Toolkit browser extension (“the extension”). By installing or using it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

1. What the extension is

The extension is a tool. It reads your janitorai.com chat context and helps you generate images using image and LLM providers you configure and pay for directly. The extension itself does not generate, host, or store content on any server — generation happens on the third‑party providers you connect, and all results are stored locally on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the extension. It can be configured to produce adult (NSFW) content, and is intended for adults only.

3. License to use the software

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for your own use, subject to these Terms. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension, or remove or circumvent its licensing or feature‑gating mechanisms.

4. Free and Pro

The extension offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro features are unlocked with a license key.

• A license key is for your personal use. Do not share, publish, resell, or distribute it.
• Pro is currently sold as a one‑time purchase for the features listed at the time of sale. The set of Pro features may evolve; we will not remove materially advertised features from a tier you already paid for without a reasonable alternative.

5. Payments, trial, and refunds

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, a third‑party payment provider (merchant of record), whose terms also apply to the transaction.

• A 7‑day free trial is available so you can evaluate Pro features before purchasing.
• Because a license unlocks digital features immediately on activation, statutory withdrawal rights for digital content under EU Directive 2011/83 do not apply once you have activated the key and explicitly consented to the immediate performance. No refunds are offered after purchase.
• We may revoke a license obtained through fraud, chargeback, or resale, or used in violation of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for how you use the extension and for the content you generate with it. You agree not to use it to:

• create or attempt to create illegal content, including any sexual content involving minors or anyone depicted as a minor, or non‑consensual content;
• violate the terms of service of janitorai.com or of any image/LLM provider you connect;
• abuse, overload, or attack any third‑party service; or
• break any law that applies to you.

NSFW generation is off by default and is an opt‑in you enable deliberately. If you enable it, you are responsible for ensuring such content is legal for you to create and possess in your jurisdiction.

7. Third‑party services

The extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by janitorai.com or any provider (ComfyUI, AUTOMATIC1111, NovelAI, AI Horde, Replicate, fal.ai, OpenAI, Ollama, or others). All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and you are responsible for any fees they charge.

8. Your data

The extension stores your data locally on your device and sends it only to the providers you configure. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or compatible with future versions of janitorai.com or any provider.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or provider costs, arising from your use of the extension. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the extension in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version will be posted at https://janitorai-toolkit.volcanixduo.com/terms, with the date above updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Mandatory consumer‑protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
