These Terms govern the use of the Toolkit for Janitor AI browser extension (the “Extension”) and the purchase and use of a Toolkit for Janitor AI Pro license (“Pro”). By installing or using the free Extension, you agree to the parts of these Terms that apply to use of the software. Before buying Pro, you must actively accept these Terms in Stripe Checkout.
If you do not agree, do not install, use, or purchase the Extension.
The Extension is provided under the name Volcanixduo.

If Stripe or Link is expressly identified in Checkout as merchant of record, its transaction terms also apply to payment, tax handling, refunds, and transaction support. These Terms continue to govern the software license, product use, and product-level support provided by Volcanixduo.
The Extension reads context from the janitorai.com page open in your browser and helps generate images and speech using providers you configure. It is a bring-your-own-provider tool: hosted provider subscriptions, API keys, model access, compute, and usage fees are not included in the purchase price.
The Extension is an independent community product. It is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by JanitorAI or by any integrated provider.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use or purchase the Extension. If you buy on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
The Extension is intended for supported desktop versions of Firefox and Chromium-based browsers. Chromium 116 or later is required. Safari and mobile browsers are not currently supported.

Subject to these Terms, Volcanixduo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Extension for your own lawful purposes.

The Extension includes a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro is unlocked with a signed license key delivered to the email address used at Checkout.
Unless Checkout clearly says otherwise:
We will not intentionally remove materially advertised paid functionality from the purchased tier without a reasonable replacement, remedy, or any relief required by applicable law.
The total price, currency, and any taxes or additional charges are shown in Stripe Checkout before you place the order. No recurring charge is created for a one-time Pro purchase.
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and the license is issued. If we cannot accept or fulfill an order, the payment will be cancelled or refunded. Stripe may send a separate payment receipt or invoice.
You are responsible for providing a deliverable email address. Contact support if the license email does not arrive after checking spam/junk folders.
Pro is digital content supplied without a tangible medium. Supply begins when the license key is generated and sent to the email address provided at Checkout; activation in the browser is not required for supply to begin.
Where consumer withdrawal law applies, Checkout asks you to:
Stripe records acceptance of the required checkbox. The license email confirms the Terms version and the recorded request/acknowledgment. If that express consent and acknowledgment were not validly collected, your mandatory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded, including remedies for digital content that is not supplied, defective, or not in conformity with the contract.
After immediate supply has begun following valid express consent and acknowledgment, a change-of-mind refund is not normally available. Refunds may still be due where required by law or under the circumstances described in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy, including duplicate charges, failed delivery that cannot be remedied, or qualifying non-conformity.
Request support before opening a payment dispute when reasonably possible so we can investigate promptly. This does not waive or restrict any right to contact your bank, payment provider, consumer authority, or court.
If a payment is refunded, the associated contractual right to use Pro ends. You must stop using the refunded Pro license and delete the key. Because license verification is offline, technical deactivation may not always occur immediately; that does not preserve a right to use a refunded license.
You are responsible for your prompts, generated content, configured providers, and use of the Extension. You must not use it to:
The Extension can connect to third-party or self-hosted image, LLM, and TTS providers. Those services are not controlled by Volcanixduo. Their terms, privacy policies, availability, safety rules, and fees apply separately.
You are responsible for securing your provider credentials and for all provider charges incurred using your keys. Volcanixduo does not receive those provider fees and cannot refund them.
The Extension primarily stores its working data locally, but purchases, transactional email, website requests, and support involve limited server-side processing. The Privacy Policy describes the actual data flows, providers, legal bases, retention criteria, and your rights.
JanitorAI, browser vendors, and providers may change or discontinue interfaces, restrict third-party tools, or take action under their own terms. This can temporarily or permanently affect individual features.
Such an external change does not by itself automatically create a refund right, but it does not limit any mandatory remedy where the Extension as supplied is not in conformity with the contract.
We may provide fixes, compatibility changes, and feature updates. You are responsible for installing available updates on Chromium builds; signed Firefox builds may update automatically.
Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through the contact channels listed on the website. We do not promise a specific response or resolution time unless separately stated in writing.
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.
We may terminate the software license for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, unlawful redistribution, or misuse of a license key. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure a remediable breach. Termination describes the end of your legal permission to use Pro; an offline key may not be technically revocable immediately.
Termination does not affect locally stored data. Refund consequences remain subject to the Refund Policy and mandatory law.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the free tier and any experimental features are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise continuous, error-free operation or permanent compatibility with third-party websites and providers.
These disclaimers do not exclude any statutory guarantee or right relating to paid digital content, including rights to have qualifying non-conformity remedied, receive a proportionate price reduction, or terminate the contract where applicable.
To the extent permitted by law, Volcanixduo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost provider credits, or lost locally stored data that could reasonably have been backed up. For non-consumer claims, aggregate liability relating to Pro is limited to the amount paid for the license.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so is prohibited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable, or mandatory consumer remedies.
The Terms version accepted at purchase governs that purchase. We may update the Terms prospectively for legal, security, or product changes. A material change to an existing paid license will not take effect solely because you continued using the Extension where applicable law requires notice or express acceptance.

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of habitual residence.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under mandatory law. Before formal proceedings, you are invited—but not required—to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the matter.
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be applied to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
